Location. Located in Piazza Stesicoro next to the Roman Amphitheatre, the Liberty Hotel stands in the historical center of Catania, Sicily, Italy. Shopping, tourist information and the Metropolitan Theatre are within 200 meters of the hotel.
Hotel Features. Striped draperies, floral accents and chandeliers with candlesticks illuminate the breakfast room, Chiostro Fiorito. Buffet style breakfasts are served here each morning. The Liberty style Reading Room features a selection of books and classical music. The gardens are a pleasant space in which to enjoy breakfast or a drink on the terrace. Gold toned walls and cranberry colored chairs fill the meeting room, which can accommodate up to 33 guests.
Guestrooms. Liberty style guestrooms feature upscale textiles, antiques and original Liberty designs released by Hoffmann in 1911. Bathrooms offer marble mosaics, complimentary toiletries and makeup mirrors. Amenities include satellite television and complimentary wireless Internet access. Minibars are available.
Expert Tip. The ruins of the ancient Roman Amphitheatre, most of which has been excavated, includes two corridors that run the length of the amphitheater, pillars made from blocks of lava and brick arches. This is the third largest Roman amphitheater found, after those at Verona and the Colosseum.

Taxis are available outside the airport cost around 25 EUR to the city centre. A regular bus service called the Alibus connects the airport to the city centre. Tickets can be bought at a booth outside the terminal.
From Catania Fontanarossa Airport:
Approximate distance to the hotel is seven kilometers.
Follow directions to the Port.
From here follow directions to the train station.
Turn left onto Corso Martiri della Libert�.
Drive straight onto Corso Sicilia and Piazza Stesicoro.
Turn right into Via S. Euplio, then left into Via Cimarosa.
At the next set of traffic lights turn left.
Turn right into Via Reclusorio del Lume.
Drive straight on; turn left into Via Orto San Clemente.
Arrive at hotel.
